Whitney VredenburghOwner

Nested Spaces formed in late 2014 when owner Whitney Vredenburgh moved from St. Louis to Indianapolis. Looking to settle into their new home, Whitney was on a mission to create a friendly and welcoming home for her family.

During the move, Whitney discovered her love for top-notch design and creating warm, inviting spaces to make the settling-in or nesting process easier for her family.

Coming from more than 10 years of experience in corporate marketing, Whitney has always loved being creative through branding and communication.

Nested Spaces was the next step to help others make a new home feel more like ‘the home.’ Whitney is certified through Home Staging Resource and is a RESA-PRO member. She served as the President of RESA Indianapolis in 2020-2021.

Whitney lives in Zionsville with her husband Steve and their four kids: Ainsley, James, Isabelle, and Edward. In her spare time, she enjoys napping!

Chad King
Design Specialist

He joined the Nested Spaces team in Fall of 2022. He graduated with an Interior Residential Degree from IVY Tech. Every stage he leads are unique, thoughtful, and well-designed. 

He previously spent 20+ years in retail sales and merchandising.

He lives in Indianapolis with his husband, Chad and two fur children, Rocco and Emma. Chad enjoys dining out with friends and family. He is also a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Mackenzie Sickmeier
Design Specialist

Mackenzie began working at Nested Spaces in Fall of 2022. She is eager to learn the best ways to serve her clients and help the team. Mackenzie is creative and detailed-oriented to create the most beautiful spaces to help you stage your property for sale, or nest into your current home.

She graduated from Ball State University in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She has grown up around design, her father is an architect and was introduced to design at a young age.

Mackenzie currently lives in Noblesville with her boyfriend and cat, Marv. In her free time, she loves to travel, cook, and go on bike rides.

Kristi CurranStaging & Warehouse Specialist

Kristi started working at Nested Spaces in the fall of 2022. With her demonstrated experience in space planning and design, Kristi has proved to be a timely addition to our team.

She lives in Zionsville with her husband, one of her three children who are still ‘in the nest’ and a frenetic Chihuahua/Jack Russell duo.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, fitness and finding news ways to do old things.

Robin Eggers
Operations Manager

Robin joined Nested Spaces in the fall of 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in strategic client service, product launch and project management. Robin has an MBA from Duke University and her previous roles include the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at IU Health and an Executive Director of Avant Healthcare.

Robin lives in Westfield with her husband, Matt. They enjoy travelling to visit their children in college (in Arizona and California). Robin also enjoys coaching gymnastics and working on the event staff of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
