House Trends to Expect in 2023

The year 2022 may have passed but many of its house trends will not be forgotten. One thing is for sure, marketable homes continue to showcase a natural look. We will continue to see natural tones and metals create stunning contrasts.

1.) Earth Tones

The trend of earth tones continues in homes. The popular color tones that create warmth and coziness in spaces are green, taupe, rust, and cream. If you’re shopping to update your spaces, purchase earth tones in your pillows (Suede Pillows), artwork (Grassy View Artwork), décor (Moss Bowl), or even paint colors.

2.) Natural Stones

In 2023, we will see more natural stones in home accents, furniture, and décor. Stones are elegant and complementary to most colors and spaces. These natural additions are stunning in kitchens— showcased above with marble countertops and backsplashes. But you don’t have to break the bank to incorporate natural stones. Purchase marble and quartz bowls (Marble Bowl), trays (Marble Tray), and cutting boards (Marble Cutting Board) or end tables with a marble top (Marble End Tables).

3.) Rattan, Sisal, and Jute Furniture & Décor

Natural tones bring warmth and a beautiful texture that other tones can’t. To incorporate natural tones, add rattan, sisal, and jute to bring a natural look to the home. Natural tones can be incorporated with baskets (Rattan Baskets), light fixtures (Rattan Light Fixture), and area rugs (Jute Round Rug).

4.) Mixing Metals

Another trend that continues to rise in popularity is mixing metals in homes. The metals used are gold, nickel, and matte black to give a custom feel to spaces. We especially love black and gold metal accents in hardware, light fixtures (Metal Pendant Light), lamps (Brass Floor Lamp), etc. Pairing metal with natural tones creates a beautiful contrast.

5.) Statement Light Fixtures

Do you want to create some WOW factor in a space? Over-sized or large light fixtures will draw all eyes to the room (but in a great way!). Add a statement light fixture in your home office or dining room or even in your pendant lights above your island.
