Tips and Tricks: Staging Your Home for the Market
I had a exciting opportunity to speak at the Buying, Selling & Refinancing 101 Event with fellow panel experts at Macy’s Castleton in early November. Panelists discussed the Buying and Selling Process, Refinancing your property, Title Insurance and, of course, Staging!
One of the biggest takeaways was paring down your current accessories including collections, books and decor. Paring down a property neutralizes it and makes it feel more like a product. It shouldn’t be decorated with diplomas and baby pictures (really, no personal pictures at all) which helps a potential buyer picture themselves in their new home.
